To assist potential applicants, SAMHSA’s Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) has identified a list of current publications on effective treatment practices for use by treatment professionals in treating individuals with substance abuse disorders.

Co-occurring Center for Excellence
COCE provides the technical, informational, and training resources needed to disseminate knowledge and encourage adoption of evidence-based practices in systems and programs that serve persons with co-occurring disorders.

Electronic Uniform Block Grant Application System Data
State Systems Development Program: The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT), Division of State and Community Assistance (DSCA), developed a State Systems Development Program (SSDP) to enhance Federal and State accountability for the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant. 

Substance Abuse Treatment Facility Locator
This searchable directory of drug and alcohol treatment programs shows the location of facilities around the country that treat alcoholism, alcohol abuse and drug abuse problems. The Locator includes more than 11,000 addiction treatment programs, including residential treatment centers, outpatient treatment programs, and hospital inpatient programs for drug addiction and alcoholism. Listings include treatment programs for marijuana, cocaine, and heroin addiction, as well as drug and alcohol treatment programs for adolescents, and adults.

The Knowlege Application Programs (KAP)
Keep abreast of the latest research and treatment news from CSAT and SAMHSA. Access a comprehensive list of grant and funding opportunities and awards. Obtain information on treatment research, evaluations, and data sources. Link to other alcohol and substance abuse treatment organizations and centers.

Recovery Community Services Program (RCSP)

Peer-to-peer recovery support services help people initiate and sustain recovery from alcohol and drug use disorders. Some RCSP grant projects also offer support to family members of people needing, seeking, or in recovery. ;

Treatment Improvement Exchange (TIE) by State
The Treatment Improvement Exchange (TIE) is a resource sponsored by the Division of State and Community Assistance of the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment to provide information exchange between CSAT staff and State and local alcohol and substance abuse agencies. This Directory contains contact information for all State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Agencies, and provides a link to the Agency's Web Site, if one exists.
